To get to Sunrise Mine Trail you must travel up the Mountain Loop Highway until reaching milepost 28.8, at this point you will take a right onto
Sunrise Mine Road #4065.
Follow 2.2 miles to the trailhead at the end of the road and park along the roadside. This trail starts steeply uphill and crosses
over the Stillaguamish in the beginning. This is a 2.6 strenuous mile climb which can be described as narrow and rocky, and rugged conditions.
Be very cautious of falling rocks as well. There are great views of neighboring basins and valleys the entire hike, which of course makes the hike that much more worth it.
