Elliot Creek and Goat Lake Trail
Mountain Loop Highway

To get to Elliot Creek and Goat Lake Trail, you must travel south along Mountain Loop Highway from Darrington's Ranger Station for 22 miles. Get to Elliot Creek Road #4080 and make a left. Travel 0.8 miles until reaching the trailhead.

This is a 5 mile one way moderate hike that lasts about two hours. There is an eleveation gain of 1300 feet. This is a very beautiful scenic hike flourished with views of McIntosh Falls and mystical small creeks. This hike is mostly an uphill workout ending with a short slope downhill that drops you into Goat Lake.

There are great mountains views to be seen from the trail as well. Goat Lake is a very popular fishing spot, as it gets stocked periodically.
