Barlow Point trail is a short, moderate hike that will last about an hour. To get to the trailhead you must follow the Mountain Loop
Highway 30.5 miles up.
On the left hand side of the road you'll spot a sign indicating Barlow Point Trailhead. There is no water or camping
along this trail. THe peak elevation reaches 3212 feet. It is an in and out hike with great scenery. From the summit you can spot Silvertip,
Lewis, and National Peaks. The trail is rather steep so keep that in mind if you are planning on taking the whole family, as this may cause a problem for younger children.
